Behind-The-Scenes Pix #14: LOGAN'S RUN TV Series

Gregory Harrison and Heather Menzies on location during the filming of the 1977 Logan's Run CBS television series - which will be released on DVD in April. I am eagerly anticipating having this series - one of my favorites from my childhood - on my DVD shelves! Can't wait!

Pre-Order: Logan's Run: Complete Series

  1. Pre-ordered! Hope there are a few extras on the set but I won't hold out to much hope. While there were certainly a fair amount of clunkers there are at least two episodes that showed the series potential ("man out of time" and "the crypt"). Wish we would have at least got a full seasons worth of episodes!

  2. About the only thing I remember about this series was the line 'She is a WITCH! Burn her!' uttered by some guy in an angry mob. I used that line in a variety of contexts afterwards... Anyway...

  3. Oddly enough, I have seen the series not that long ago and I can't think where that line would have come in? Anyone?

  5. It was the Logan's Run television series that first brought me to your blog many moons ago. I was a little surprised that anyone still cared. I saw very little of this show way back then. I remember the character Rem for some reason and not much else. Probably only saw a couple part episodes (we never had anything so extravagant as "the TV guide" and as kids were seldom in charge of the TV). The desire to see more of this has never left me. At the time it wasn't available, but your site gave me hope that at least there were other cool things to distract me. I have to say I had no idea how much cool sci-fi I had seen (and forgotten about) over the years until seeing it displayed here. I've been 'waiting in line' since you first posted that it was actually, finally, going to be made available. I cant wait to see what I missed.
    Great blog Christopher!
